Dry or wet?

Many cats love canned cat food and only eat small amounts of dry. Choose the highest quality dry and wet food you can afford for their health and happiness.

Standards of quality and cat nutrition established by the Association of American Feed Control Officials (AAFCO) ensure that AAFCO-compliant cat food provides complete and balanced cat nutrition. Read the label — your cat's food should provide a complete and balanced supply of nutrients.

Keep it fresh.

Be sure to keep dry food bags tightly closed and in a cool, dry place to preserve nutrients and taste. Only put out enough to last until the next feeding (usually morning and evening), based on the directions on the bag or from your vet. Don’t forget to keep fresh water out at all times.

Hold the milk and cream.

Cats like the taste, but it usually is undigested by adult cats and causes diarrhea.
